counter-strike?

i had my second training last saturday. and next saturday would be our third and final training before we'll become members of the elite ranger platoon of the airsoft warfare operatives legion (a.w.o.l.) - team davao. probably i'll be assigned in ERP-Bravo 2nd squad. beside me is an airsoft veteran and friend roy. he looks more of like an operative from s.w.a.t. and i look like a media-turned-terrorist masta'mind or somethin' :D me and my teammates will have our uniforms soon. for now, i'll enjoy wearing that one...be unique for quite a while. hekhek.

senti on a tuesday morning

last night i went home earlier than the usual and since i don't have a tv set in my house (waahhhh huhuhu) so i inserted cruisin' cd compilation on my cd player and started cleaning my working table. then i opened one of its compartment that i haven't opened for more than half a decade now. there i saw my old seiko 5 gold-plated watch - it was given to me by my dad before i went to college, my C.O.L.T. nameplate and certificate, my old jewelry box (omg..this is really going sentimental...), my old necklace, a few old pictures of .... never mind (but it's good to see those anyway), and my diary way back then...i really find it hard to recall that i've actually had one. i just can't seem to picture myself writing something every night for straight 2 months just before my college graduation. i've read line by line, phrase by phrase, page by page and omg..it was really my penmanship (i know for a fact coz it's really ugly hehehe). little by little, i was able to recall some old forgotten memories...some were really funny...a few sad stories too.

so now i placed my diary and all those old pictures in a sealed box. i don't know but i've brought them with me today. its in my car. should i find a place, dig a hole and hide it then retrieve it after a decade or so? or burn them? i don't know. until i find a decision, it'll remain in my car.

new sport

so i have a new sport. and i find it really interesting. matter of fact, i've already played with other big boys last saturday. a few of my officemates were there at the scene and they all planned to buy their own gears. this saturday we'll be a bunch of big boys who never-wanted-to-grow-old-anyway or something like that ehehehh.

let me tell you something about this one...an officemate went inside our office and he mentioned about this one so obviously, my good friend ian, who's a frustrated air force...army...errr..wwhateverrr :-) sorry bro hehe, got interested and is willing to buy some gadgets/gears. he even offered a buy-now-pay-whenever deal to me and my other officemate/friend ajoe just to support his desires ;-). so there, that evening we went to the nearest mall and got ourselves the thing for the game. :D

and the three of us went there last saturday. ajoe and i joined the other boys, ian just sat there in one corner with the other spectators...observing. well, it's more of like he wasn't wearing the right gear actually :D

generally, the two-and-a-half hour game was fun. it could pass for a good alternative sport ;-) or maybe just for the heck of spending a free time on weekends instead of puffing that cigarette or drinking hekhekhek.. :D

grandpa's bike

i used to ride one like this when i was a kid. it's amazing how it's still being used up to this time. well, the bicycle here in the picture isn't really black. it just turned out to be black because of the dirt and the grease on it. :) and the tires...omg...they can't be punctured/vulcanized like what we have right now coz it's pure rubber. vulcanizing shops just drool when this thing passes them by. hehe. beat this.

withdrawal symptoms

i really feel sick today, and for the last couple of days, i'm coughing hard like my chest is going to explode like hell and i can't breathe well. maybe this is one of the symptoms i get from trying to refrain from smoking, at least, for almost a week now.

the heck guys, i suppose i've blogged about quitting this stupid sh*t last year and here i am again trying to convince myself to quit. duh! but i should...i must...and may the force be with me.
