first time

i didn't know it was really hard to take care of a poodle than any other breeds until last saturday. first, i had to prepare her things prior to bathing. i have to make sure that her towel is clean, i'm not talking about any ordinary towel here, it's actually like one of those like we use to clean our car after washing, hmm chamois? i don't know the exact term for it. i had to make sure i cut her nails and trim her muzzle and stuffs. then i had to brush her teeth...omg! we were like wrestling before i could finish brushing. then i had to dry her up and comb her hair like a little girl. whew. but it was really something that i instantly like to do and i'm looking forward to bathing her again next saturday.

did i mention about posting clear pictures of her?

i finally got my xda back...whew.

poot-poot

it was sunday evening when we fetched this 11-pound pomeranian poodle from a dear friend. i know for a fact it was so difficult for my friend to let go of her beloved pet but soon she'll leave the country and nobody will take care of little poot-poot.

now, this cuddly toydog is happy with her new home. though last night she couldn't sleep at all...so busy roaming around the house, reaching every corner and sniffing like she's trying to get familiar with every little detail of her new place. of course, this morning she finally slept over her little couch. so cute...

i'll post a better picture when i'll have my digicam fixed...

i heart holidays

tomorrow is a holiday in the observance of the araw ng davao. so, no work. meaning, i'm gonna spend my whole day inside the gym. cool.
by the way, i'm sporting a new tattoo made of henna. it'll be gone in a few weeks though.

we've been expecting the typhoon would hit davao "for the very first time". luckily it didn't. instead it went around gensan then going southwest. maybe somewhere in the visayas region. whew! a friend in gensan called me up march.7 asking if it indeed hit my place and i told him most likely it would coz judging from the eastern skies outside my office dang! it's a horrifying view. but then the winds stopped about 6-pm and skies cleared up around 10. the morning after, i checked the typhoon direction and it went to my friends' place. whatta' sudden twist.

oh yes, davao's really blessed. kinda' surrounded by mountains - samal from the east, comval from the north side, mt. apo from south side and several other mountains from the west going to bukidnon.

so we're like, back to damn work again. shucks...

typhoon might hit southern mindanao

somebody emailed me this one and i don't think anyone would just make this one up. i can't recall davao being hit by typhoon of any kind. i hope this wouldn't reach our place though.

1. it's amazing what knee surgery can do to you. i lost 14lbs when i got out. another 6lbs during the healing period. that's in a month. ;-)

2. a consultant (or perhaps an insultant...or better yet sulsultant) whose primary work (as assigned by the chairman) is to identify which financial management tasks can be off-loaded from the chief finance officer and may be delegated to a trusted few inside the corporate finance. and so he does the job of a consultant finding out the different financial tasks, interrogating every senior and junior managers, and even rankees then putting everything up in a piece of paper and present it back to the chairman as some sort of a review and recommendation. six (6) months after, the caucasian-looking-but-tagalog-speaking-stupid sh*t consultant was hired as VP to handle financial management system and monitor IT special projects all in the farm. whatta great move, don't you agree? well, "diskarte lang yan, pare". hehe. i hope he will be accepted by the people whom he have ripped off some nice ideas and call them his own. otherwise, he'd end up the same fate as those who have tried the same and then fell down. goodluck man!

3. when i came back from a very long SL. i noticed we have a new nurse, and a new admin staff. whaddaheck happened? oh well, i was informed that three people said "i quit!" after realizing they have a stupid and unworthy boss. i took a good look at the boss..."parang walang nangyari men". and the unworthy act continues. :-p

4. oh, good news is that i'm done with NFSMW...now i'm into JETFIGHTER 2015. nice jet. i'm working on stages 1 and 2...hopefully i can finish that game too.
