dilemma
for two straight weeks now i've been working with a consultant on formulating the budget templates needed by our controllers as part of my project and here are the things i've found out lately:
1. i hate accounting soo damn much. wait...i don't demean accounting peeps in any way but the fact that i don't understand why they love working with so much calculations and crunching so many numbers only to find out how much is the cost of something and determine variances and everything in between.
2. i found out that ms excel can become a glorified columnar book. :)
apparently, i'm so into it right now and i felt like i'm becoming more of an accountant than being a computer engineer. worst is that i am now talking as if i'm speaking in tongues of some sort...credit debit..debit credit...variance analysis, reforecasted, actual and rolling and so on and so forth.
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh....
