de ja vu
"give it 3 years more jay...there'll be a lot of changes in this company..."
that's my mentor giving me a little tap on my shoulder when i was about to give up working in this company four years ago (itago na lang natin sa pangalan na UNIFRUTTI).
oh yeah, four years. i was in this institution for like eight years already and its a sort of a de ja vu thing...i'm beginning to re-think of that promise made to me.
and this could mean something...
i'll let you know after i made my reflection over the weekend.
happy weekend to all bloggers. ;-)

kitanglad adventure 07
weeks before the climb i was feeling skeptical about my right knee. will it endure to and from the peak? of course i've tested this reconstructed acl by playing basketball just 8 months after the surgery, luckily, my knee survived and i've led my team to its victory. then the badminton tournament where i and my partner bested 21 pairs to get the 2nd runner up throphy. and now conquering a 9,800-feet mountain? but after the 3-day adventure here i am now posting this on my blogsite.
ladies & gentlemen, enjoy the pictures:
short pause during our 2-hour walk on a 45-degree inclination on our wayto the foot of Mt.Kitanglad. me, my wife cristine, and my cousin monching.
finally! we were able to reach the base of the mountain. from left - harizone,
edwin, dodong - the main man at the peak, and me.
the group. this was taken after our breakfast @ the foot of mt.kitanglad, getting
ready for the great climb.

the so called "mother pokers" - a holy thursday special at the
peak. harhar. temp. drops from 10 to 6 degrees celsius, don't be fooled by the juice
container. that's brandy. pa-simple lang ang dating. hehe

"the kabuliskad group". the term kabuliskad is a visayan dialect
for someone who's having a hard time catching a breath after a strenuous
activity. ;-)
posing just before leaving the "provincial house" at the peak. we werewearing garbage bags to protect ourselves from the rain.
